Realizing what we want can also be our downfall in understanding lessons along our life journey.
Read and heal with the latest poem, Truth, by The Vivid Dreamer:
"I don't know where to start.
Life's all apart.
You would think people would
come for your possessions
before your hear.
Like apples and oranges,
dreams and realities
are miles a part.
My visions are scary.
They can have me worry.
Knowledge is one thing.
People won't take from me.
Went from steamin' greens
to college degrees.
But I embrace the cold feeling of
nothing.
I'm anxious when watched.
It's home when I'm alone.
Yet I secretly want a
ringing phone in my home.
I want to call daddy on the phone.
No luck for family dinner in a
dysfunctional home.
I'm more alive when I'm solo and alone
than someone with more clout whose
money is endless as interstate tolls.
Why does discipline have to scold?
Why never happiness before misery?
Why does the enemy panic when he see me?
Why does life seem to have
plenty of beginnings
and questionable endings?
Tell me the truth!
My loves end bad
because there's nothing 50/50
but the battlefield.
One wrong move in life
can bound your soul.
Life doesn't allow re-written stories.
just cliff notes
and once "told me so's".
The truth is
there's forever the Glory...
God's the creator of MY story!"
Life shows us crossroads because growth requires many dynamics of strength. You must be able to agree with human ethics and man-made beliefs.
You must follow your own journey and be proud of where you are today!
